Ben Mapstone
Leader of the LPS group

The first book follows my story from childhood through until I become a leader and a killer. I appear in the future books as well so get to know my backstory and you will understand why I am the way I am. You can blame my childhood, the traumatic events I went through, or you can see the challenges I faced. When you know my story and what happens around me, you will understand why I am violent and have the ability to kill when needed.

I visit Ben several times when he is young to help him through rough times. I am a Freolan created representation of Ben, I mirror his personality in my physical and emotional characteristics. I am part lion and part dog, a leader, strong and loyal, and in the first story I am there to support Ben all the way until the end.

Freolan forms from another place and time

We visit Ben and his father through the first story and feature predominatey through all the stories. We are complicated forms who have been in existence long before your universe's and time. We are the creators of all; the good, the bad and the ugly of the everything. Read about our magical world and how we want to help humanity survive.

I live in the Freolan world and have learnt so much from our friends. They have incredible knowledge and powers that continue to amaze me every moment. Working with the Freolans I help Ben and his dad strategically influence the events in our home world. Hopefully we can be successful this time.

A Freolan who is more than just a librarian

I spend my time in the Great Hall, away from all the crap! I like to keep the archives in order. I've been around so long that I have seen all many times, and of course I would like to help keep the balance, however I know my role in this story.
